Building Skills for School, Work & Life

Advancing Ability & Potential LLC (“AAP”) is built on the belief that every individual deserves access to learning, communication, independence, and meaningful opportunities. We understand that individuals and families face unique challenges, and we are committed to providing services that are accessible, individualized, and inclusive for every person we support. Accessibility for us means meeting individuals where they are—academically, socially, and developmentally—and adapting our coaching and instructional practices to their needs. This includes offering multiple methods of communication, flexible learning approaches, individualized supports, and coaching designed for real-world success. If you need services or information delivered in an alternative format, or if there is something that would make our services more accessible for you or your child, please contact us at AAParks@outlook.com and we will work with you to provide reasonable accommodations. Accessibility is fundamental to our mission and the reason AAP was created.

About Us

Advancing Ability & Potential LLC (“AAP”) was created to support young people and adults who need individualized help developing academic confidence, social communication skills, executive functioning abilities, and real-world independence. We believe every person deserves opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed in school, at home, in the workplace, and throughout life.

Our services focus on academic support, executive functioning coaching, social skills development, and workforce readiness. We meet learners where they are, adapt our approach to their needs, and help them develop skills that lead to confidence, independence, and long-term success.

AAP was built on the belief that meaningful learning happens when instruction is personalized, relationships are supportive, and goals are focused on real-world outcomes.

About Allison Parks

Hi, I’m Allison. My work is grounded in supporting individuals and families in ways that are genuine, respectful, and practical.

Growth happens when people feel understood, encouraged, and given tools that fit their daily life — that belief guides everything I do.

My experience comes from working in homes, schools, and community settings, helping children, teens, and adults build daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation, and confidence in everyday situations.

Supporting families so they feel less overwhelmed, less judged, and less alone matters deeply to me.

I’m currently completing advanced professional training in behavioral science, which informs my supportive, structured, and collaborative approach.

Progress is taken one step at a time, at a pace that feels safe and achievable for each person.

Meeting people where they are is the starting point. Listening comes first. Nothing is forced or rushed.  Everyone deserves to feel capable, and every family deserves support that feels steady, compassionate, and real.
